Hi, One thing that I realised from the Canberra Quilt Show was the importance of Value (dark/ light) Depth and perception. I had intuitively done some of these. However my knowledge of values was by chance.

I am now working on Values, by first scanning all fabrics in Grey scale on my printer and sorting them. I am finding that I have been missing key 'tones'. It was by shear luck that the values in the 'Secret Garden' was balanced correctly.
